you will never use. (And for some reason they all have the SAME links). I have tried to
make this page a bit different. Listed below are a number of sites, AND PHONE

Learn about product recalls, product safety standards, etc. You can also use this site, and the
number above, to REPORT unsafe consumer products (except for cars and a few other
products).

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. (1-800-424-9393).
Learn about car defects, crash and rollover safety, etc. You can also use this site, and the number
above, to REPORT a problem with a car.

S.C. Public Service Commission. (1-800-922-1531).
If you have problems with the power company, phone company, or gas company call the S.C.
Public Service Commission.

S.C. Department of Consumer Affairs. (1-800-922-1594)
The S.C. Department of Consumer Affairs handles various consumer complaints involving most
consumer goods and services, including health clubs, finance companies, car dealers, etc.

To file a complaint regarding an insurance company.

S.C. Manufactured Housing Board. (1-803-896-4682).
If you have a problem with a mobile home or a mobile home dealer you can file a complaint with
the S.C. Manufactured Housing Board.

U.S. Food & Drug Administration. (1-800-665-1523).
Call this number to report contaminated food. Also call your county health department.

If you have been terminated and your former employer will not pay you the money they owe you
